Strike to Our Oak Tree + 3 Exit Points

Lightning struck our oak tree under cloudy conditions after a thunderstorm storm had calmed. We noticed it must have traveled through roots and up our driveways metal grates because we’ve found three points of exit/point of contact. One being a chunk of driveway right by my car, another being the corner of our house (which also went through and blew out shoe molding inside home out.) and another being a fishing pole across from the corner of home that got hit. We filed a home claim for the damages and then were surprised by my car being completely inoperable the next morning. Insurance is giving a hard time on the car because there is no proof of entry and exit. I supposed the 4 pieces of evidence all within 10 ft of my car is not enough. We will see!
