Loud Boom Reported in Monroe County, NY

About 6:35PM local time, my wife and I both heard a loud, heavy, thud that shook the ground and could be felt in our house and in the back yard. At first we thought it might have been a very large tree falling right next to the house, but there was no evidence of anything falling in our yard or in anywhere nearby after a search. Whatever caused it was either a massive object falling or a powerful release of energy (but not fireworks, gunfire, vehicle backfire, big truck going by, etc.). We are in a residential / rural area, but not near anyplace where blasting or demolition should be occurring, but that would be closest analogy to what it felt like
