Bright Flash and Powerful Boom Reported Near Augusta, Georgia
On May 24, 2026 @ 21:23hrs. here in the Gracewood, GA area.
We had a very Bright Flash, louder than a 8″ howitzer firing zone 8> It caused the house to shake for a few seconds.
It was so bright it lit up the whole east facing sky and whited out our CCTV Cams facing in that direction.
The short but heavy shock-wave was strong enough to knock down or over items in the windows facing in the direction of South Carolina, which is eastward for our house.
