Bright light falling to earth
At approximately 2130 hours on August 9,2026, I was standing in my front yard on the cul-de-sac of Ceocia Lane in Stuarts Draft, VA. I was looking SSE at approximate azimuth 170 when I saw a bright light descending (high to low) out of the sky. The light seemed to go out as it approached the horizon at the same azimuth. The entire sighting lasted only a second or two.
