The sound of jet engines and at least a half dozen loud "booms" - practice runs?
To the east of Gaylord, Michigan, the sound of at least one jet aircraft (not seen), and at least a half dozen loud “booms” that shook the cabin. There is nothing reported in the news, but these shocks sounded and felt like ordinance runs, although there is nothing I can find about it online. Times were between 1030 and 1100. No photos available. Aircraft not sighted – perhaps because their ceiling is above the cloud line and / or smoke and haze.
