Mt. Rainier Boom?
I was sleeping when I woke up to a large boom sound northwest of my house. It sounded like an eruption. I looked at news outlets monitoring the two active volcanoes we have, but nothing. The only thing I found was that Mt. Rainier had some earthquakes near it in the past 24 hours. I don’t know what happened, but I would love to be enlightened.

this is the same person that wrote the original comment. I wanted to amend that I heard it southeast of me, not northwest.
