I saw this too. Heading south much North of you. It was maybe a little darker here and less light pollution, close to Auburn. It was pretty straight S or SSW from there, heading W. That is a long way from you, so I Imagine any S facing camera between there and you would have a good video of it.(maybe check some of the highway cams between here and there) Good eye, it was brief but awesome.
I stood at the boat launch on Gilmantown lake last night around 9:25 looking west to Speculator Mtn when a very low object at first like a slow moving satellite, yet had a yellow orange tail that broke into three pieces. And all three took off together heading east across the lake / sky — it was if they were playing then became three tails and kept going. Kept an eye on all three for 8-10 seconds. There are zero artificial lights on Gilmantown lake so visibility was clear. Remarkable how low the fireball was. And I said, wow! It was cool!
I saw this at exactly 9:27 10/25/26. I thought it was a really low shooting star, but after doing some research I saw this article and it confirms for me that it was a Meteor!
I live about 2 1/2 hours north of where this was reported and at the exact same time I also saw a light moving in the sky in the same direction but it was bright white with no trail for me and split into 2 pieces with one smaller ahead of one larger before it disappeared.
I saw the golden yellow fire ball also around 9:27pm in Great Barrington MA when I was letting my dog out in my yard. At first I thought it was a plane then I realized it was a little to fast and had a streak behind it. I watched it for about 8 seconds before I lost it in the trees/horizon. lower and slower than a shooting star.
Sounded like an explosion coming from the direction of Ft. Smallwood Elementary. Louder than a gunshot. Too loud to be fireworks. Sounded like some kind of explosion.

I have been seeing big flashing lights that Hoover for a while all around my town that seem to follow me. The only thing I can think of what it reminds me of is like a dangling earring. It’s always at dark and using gone by midnight sometimes within 30min.

Heard this just outside Mountain Grove, MO at roughly 2:40pm on Thursday, 10/22/26. Also heard lighter boom previous day around 11am.

Load humming very loud humming noise the last few nights around 11PM. This is getting old and need to be stoped!
